Sagip CPR marked two September milestones toward a CPR-ready Philippines, partnering with the Philippine Navy and Vigan City ahead of World Heart Day. Launched Aug 2025 to train 1M Filipinos, it addressed low CPR knowledge (2/10) amid high heart-disease deaths. Navy trainings (Sept 18 Taguig, Sept 22 Cavite) taught 200 BLS/CPR; Vigan refresher (Sept 24) trained 280 in CPR and AED use.

Heart disease is the Philippines’ top killer; DOH 2024 cites ~317 deaths daily, many from sudden cardiac arrest. Yet only 2 in 10 Filipinos know CPR. Bell-Kenz Pharma’s Sagip CPR aims to train 1M people in hands-only CPR and AED use, with 2025 rollouts in Bulacan (Oct 10) and Bicol (Oct 17) and partnerships nationwide to build community responders.
