Bell-Kenz Pharma donates two AEDs to Bohol-Panglao airport

Bell-Kenz Pharma donated two automated external defibrillator (AED) units for Bohol-Panglao International Airport, through the Municipal Government of Panglao and Aboitiz InfraCapital Bohol Airport Corporation (ABAC), to strengthen emergency preparedness and support a safer travel experience for residents and visitors.

The donation aims to equip responders with additional lifesaving tools to respond to cardiac emergencies involving passengers, airport personnel, and visitors.

Bell-Kenz Pharma Corporate Branding and Public Affairs Head Patrick Larraga and Public Affairs Manager Anna Leah Poteet Morales turned over the AED units to Panglao Mayor Edgardo Arcay and ABAC representatives.

Opened in 2018, Bohol-Panglao International Airport is recognized as the Philippines’ first eco-friendly airport. It recorded 2.22 million passengers in 2025, underscoring the importance of emergency readiness at a vital gateway to the province.

Through this initiative, Bell-Kenz Pharma supports Bohol’s efforts to make emergency preparedness part of the province’s continued tourism growth. Beyond welcoming travelers, a safer destination must also be ready to care for them when emergencies happen.
