Alagang Kapatid Hails Bell-Kenz's Sagip CPR in Building a Nation of Lifesavers

“Thank you sa Bell-Kenz dahil binuhay ninyo ang pagtuturo ng CPR”
Alagang Kapatid hosts Menchie Silvestre and Mon Gualvez thanked Bell-Kenz Pharma for advancing efforts to teach lifesaving skills through its flagship advocacy, Sagip CPR.
Bell-Kenz Pharma Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Head Patrick Larraga, together with Rear Admiral Roben De Guzman of the Coast Guard Civil Relations Service, joined the program to discuss health, wellness, and operational readiness among Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) personnel.
“They need to be fit at all times kasi you never know when disaster will strike,” Larraga said, emphasizing the importance of keeping frontliners prepared for rescue missions and disaster response.
De Guzman also underscored the role of discipline in carrying out their duties: “Kailangan din po talaga ang disiplina at yun po ang nangingibabaw po.”
Larraga shared how Bell-Kenz’s partnership with the PCG has grown from Sagip CPR training for barangay health workers in Cebu to community outreach, disaster relief assistance, and support for Coast Guard athletes.
He also discussed the recently concluded Ultima Coast Guard Challenge in Bagac, Bataan, where 24 Coast Guard teams took on 11 challenges that tested their physical fitness, teamwork, and lifesaving capabilities.
To support participants’ health and wellness throughout the challenge, Bell-Kenz also distributed its Ultima multivitamins to help them brace for the backbreaking tasks.
“Let us help the Coast Guard. Let’s come together as a country and work behind them,” Larraga urged, encouraging public support for the agency’s work in protecting communities.
Bell-Kenz remains committed to expanding access to lifesaving education and supporting the health and readiness of frontliners through partnerships that bring care closer to Filipino communities.
