Bell-Kenz Pharma Strengthens Commitment to Employee Well-being with Inspiring Wellness Day

In its continued mission to build a people-first culture, Bell-Kenz Pharma hosted its Employee Wellness Day 2025 at BK Tower with the theme “Response+Ability: Nutrition and Wellness.” The event placed a strong focus on holistic well-being, emphasizing that self-care is both a personal responsibility and a professional strength.

Organized by the Human Resources Division, in collaboration with the Corporate Innovation, Strategy, and Experience + (CISE+) Division, the program brought together employees for a meaningful day of reflection and learning. It featured insights from two esteemed guest speakers who champion nutrition and mental wellness in the Philippine health landscape.

Ms. Patricia Dela Cruz, Chief Dietitian at Capitol Medical Center and a trained diabetes educator, opened the wellness talks by addressing realistic strategies for weight management and healthier living. She emphasized the importance of informed choices in nutrition and making wellness a sustainable lifestyle.

Following her was Dr. Zenaida Velasco, President-Elect of the International Affiliate of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a decorated leader in the field of dietetics. Dr. Velasco inspired attendees with her message on mindful living, empowering employees to align their health with their sense of purpose and mental clarity, and what she referred to as caring for both “body and bodhi.”

The event is part of Bell-Kenz Pharma’s broader “Nurture Your Response+Ability”

campaign, a people-centric initiative that highlights the role of individual responsibility in achieving personal wellness and collective growth.

“These programs are not just calendar events. They reflect who we are as a company,” said Mr. Mark Anthony Mariano, HR Director of Bell-Kenz Pharma, Inc. “When we invest in our people’s wellness, we strengthen our purpose and identity as a company that truly cares.”

As a leading pharmaceutical company, Bell-Kenz Pharma continues to champion the importance of accessible health education, both for its customers and its internal community. Through events like Employee Wellness Day, the company reaffirms its belief that a healthy team is a thriving community, one that creates impact not only within the organization, but across the people it serves.

At the heart of this initiative is the spirit of Barangay Bell-Kenz, a culture where every employee is seen, heard, and cared for.

More than employees, we, as part of Barangay Bell-Kenz, are a community. It is a shared space where wellness is not just a program, but a way of life,” said Mr. Chris Duarte, representative of the Corporate Branding and Public Relations Department. “It is where people look after each other and grow together with purpose

Because in every barangay, it’s the people who make it strong. And in Barangay Bell-Kenz, our people are our greatest strength.
