Bell-Kenz Pharma Provides Medical Aid to Communities Affected by Mt. Kanlaon Eruption

When disaster strikes, the effects linger far beyond the headlines. In Negros Island and nearby areas, many families are still struggling with health issues caused by last year’s Mt. Kanlaon eruption, and as the volcano continues to release smoke, the risks remain.

Recognizing the imminent need to support the health of fellow Filipinos and responding to the call of aiding the Negros Island community, Bell-Kenz Pharma donated essential medicines to the GMA Kapuso Foundation’s Medical Mission, which will have an estimate of 1,000 beneficiaries.

To further support this cause, Bell-Kenz Pharma is also raising awareness about the serious health risks posed by volcanic smog and ashfall, including respiratory problems and skin irritation. Understanding these dangers is essential, especially for communities near Mt. Kanlaon, where volcanic emissions remain a daily concern.
